Amulya Leona, who raised slogans in support of Pakistan from Owaisi’s platform, got bail:

Amulya Leona, who chanted the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad at a rally of All India Majlis E Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi, got bail from a court in Bengaluru. Earlier, she was sent to 14 days judicial custody. On 20 February 2020, Amulya Leona had raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ at a rally in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Condemning Amulya Leona’s statement, Owaisi then asked the organizers to investigate the entire matter. He had also confirmed that he and his party were not concerned or supportive of Leona’s remarks. The Hyderabad MP had said that it is always ‘India Zindabad’ for AIMIM and they have nothing to do with Pakistan.

Asaduddin Owaisi said that “We condemn anyone who comes here and raise slogans in support of our enemy country.”We have nothing to do with Pakistan. People who are raising pro-Pakistan slogans have no relation with us. The organizers have called people who are saying the wrong things here. This statement is completely wrong. ”
