Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday alleged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement on the deadlock with China in Ladakh that the Prime Minister has handed over Indian territory to China. He tweeted, “Prime Minister has handed over Indian territory to China in front of Chinese aggression.” The Congress leader questioned that if this land belonged to China, then why did our soldiers die? Where were they martyred?
The Prime Minister said at the end of this meeting called on the violent clashes between Indian and Chinese soldiers along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh that the whole country was hurt and outraged by what China had done.
This is not the first time that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has attacked the central government. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi wrote in a tweet, “It has become quite clear that China’s attack in Galvan Valley was pre-planned. The government was sleeping and denied the problem. Our martyred soldiers had to pay for it.” 20 Indian soldiers were martyred in violent clashes with Chinese troops on LAC in eastern Ladakh on Monday night. The incident took place when everything was going back to normalcy after talks between the two countries near Galvan Valley.
