ISIS terrorist Abdul yusuf arrested in Delhi, Cooker bomb and 15 kg IED found, planning “Lone-Wolf” attack

The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested Abdul Yusuf Khan of ISIS, a global terrorist organization, after an encounter late Friday. It is revealed that he was planning the lion wolf attack. There was some big name on the target. One terrorist is absconding.

Abu was trying to carry out the terrorist attack in Delhi by carrying explosives on his bike. Police have recovered 15 kg IED and cooker bomb.

Terrorist Abu Yusuf Khan hails from Balrampur in Uttar Pradesh. He has been questioned at the Delhi Police Special Cell office in Lodhi Colony. He was in Delhi trying to carry out a major attack but police caught him in time. After this, raids continue from Delhi to UP.

Raids are going on in many places. Earlier on August 15, on Independence Day, a warning was issued about the possibility of a terrorist attack.

High alert has been issued in the case of Abu’s arrest. The DGP has directed all SPs and security agencies to be vigilant. Since 15 kg of IED explosives have been found from the arrested terrorist, they may have more consignments. On Saturday morning (August 22, 2020), NSG commandos defused the cooker bomb.

Terror squad of Uttar Pradesh has also reached Delhi. The team is engaged in gathering information with the special cell. It is also being said in many media reports that ISIS terrorist Abu Yusuf Khan targeting of a big name in Delhi. The number plate of the bike found with the terrorist is also fake.

It has also been learned about the said terrorist that he was also in contact with ‘Islamic State in Khorasan Province (ISKP)’ and was about to attack India with the help of Afghan terrorists. He was also in touch with terrorist organizations operating in Kashmir. The UP police will bring him to his native area Balrampur for further investigation. He was in touch with terrorists from India and abroad through cyberspace.

ISIS militant Abu Yusuf Khan was arrested from ridge Road area between Karol Bagh and Dhaulakuan in Delhi. He also opened fire on the police. The police have also seized the pistol that he used. There was a brief shootout between the police and the militant before he was arrested. He was arrested around 12 midnight.
