A student of Aligarh Muslim University has accused her fellow Muslim student that he has threatened her and said that she will have to wear hijab when the university opens.
Mohsin Raza, a minister in the government of Uttar Pradesh, condemned the incident and said ,”People with such mentality work to divide the country, they should go to the Taliban.” He also assured strict action. Actually, a non-Muslim student from Bulandshahr has alleged that she has been threatened with wearing hijab on social media.
Police has filed a case on the complaint given by the student to SSP. In a letter to SSP, the student wrote that she expresses her views on social media due to which she has to face threats. She had also supported the NRC and CAA on social media and given her views on the entry of outsiders into the university campus too in February.
After this, she faced a very vulgar replies. In the entire case, SP Crime has ordered CO III to investigate. The CO said that a case has been registered in the Civil Line Police Station against the B.Arc student of AMU Danish Rahbar under the IT act. Danish had written threatening the student,”Inshallah you will also be wearing hijab, that too of brass”
