On the violent clash with China in Ladakh, the Prime Minister said in a digital meeting with the Chief Ministers that the sacrifice of the soldiers will not go in vain, there should not be confusion or doubt, India wants peace but is able to respond to the provocation.
20 soldiers, including a colonel of the Indian Army, were killed in a violent clash with Chinese troops on Monday night in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh. This is the largest military confrontation between the two countries in more than five decades. This has further aggravated the already existing deadlock on the border between the two countries.
