Lord Ram was born in Nepal and Ayodhya is in Nepal and not in India: Nepal Prime Minister
The Nepali Prime Minister gave a controversial statement that Lord Ram was born in Nepal and he was a Nepali king. He said that real Ayodhya is in Nepal and not in India. Ever since this statement, religious leaders and political organizations of India have strongly condemned the Nepalese Prime Minister.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya termed it as mental illness of KP Oli. Keshav Maurya tweeted that KP Oli should not be forgotten that Nepal was also a part of India in the past. Nepalese PM had said on Monday that Nepal is a victim of cultural encroachment and its history has been tampered.
According to Surya Thapa, press advisor to Prime Minister Oli, he said, “The place where Thori is named near Birganj is the actual Ayodhya where Lord Rama was born. There is a big controversy over Ayodhya in India. But there is no dispute over our Ayodhya. ” Oli had claimed that since Dasaratha was the king of Nepal, it is natural that his son was born in Nepal, so Ayodhya is in Nepal.
