Mayawati said, the government’s first duty to solve the problem of livelihood of migrant workers

Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati said that it is the first duty of the central and state governments to solve the livelihood problem of lakhs of migrant workers returning home in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. In another tweet, Mayawati said that the economic package of 20 lakh crore rupees announced by the Center lately, the examination of fair use in the public interest is also to be done here.

She said that the general public can hardly forget the neglect and contempt of governments for their unprecedented plight, They need justice to live. The BSP supremo said that for the lakhs of migrant laborers returning home, suffering from all kinds of neglect and disdain due to the lockdown in the country for the last 66 days, finally, the court had to ask that the entire train and bus to send them houses is the responsibility of the government. The government has been ignoring this demand of the BSP.
