Officials should ensure that no one is hungry in the state: CM Yogi Adityanath


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officers to ensure that no one should go hungry in the state while giving instructions to provide food grains to all the needy.

He said that the state government has made arrangements to provide one thousand rupees for providing food grains to the destitute, two thousand rupees for treatment in case of sickness, and five thousand rupees for the last rites on the death of a destitute person. The Chief Minister was reviewing the relaxation of the lockdown system on Tuesday. He directed that the system of transporting goods to the house in prohibited areas should be continued. Police have to make effective patrolling to ensure that there is no mob.

He has instructed the Nodal Officers of Health Department posted in the districts to conduct regular inspections of Covid and non-Covid hospitals. The officials will get direct information about all the arrangements of these hospitals and submit their reports to the government. The Chief Minister said that all protective measures should be taken to protect the police, PAC, fire service and railway police personnel from infection. In order to protect the medical workers from infection, their training work should be conducted continuously.

Adityanath said that monitoring committees operating in urban and rural areas is helping to prevent infection. He directed the Principal Secretary – Rural Development and Principal Secretary – Urban Development to regularly review the work of the monitoring committees. The Chief Minister said that the food distribution campaign has started from June 1. He instructed that all arrangements from the godown to the ration shop should be completed smoothly. He said that with the wheat purchasing centers fully active, the work of buying wheat from farmers should be done at a rapid pace.
