Pakistan Stopped construction of Krishna Temple in Islamabad

The Imran Khan government has banned the construction of the Krishna temple to be built in the capital Islamabad, With this, the truth of Imran Khan’s oppressive government came to light. The government of Imran Khan has taken this decision under pressure from the fundamentalist organizations of Pakistan, who declared the temple construction decisions as anti-Islam, Government of Pakistan has now decided to seek advice from the Islamic Ideology Council regarding the temple.

Earlier, the Capital Development Authority of Pakistan had stopped the construction of the temple. Ironically, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs said that the rights of minorities in Pakistan will be protected. A few days ago, the foundation stone of the construction of this temple was laid. For this, the Imran Khan government had also announced a grant of Rs 10 crore. Religious education institution Jamia Ashurfia said that the construction of temple for minorities (Hindus) with government funds is raising many questions and it is completely against Islam.

This temple to be built in Islamabad would have been the first Hindu temple to be built in Islamabad after Pakistan came into existence. A plot of 20,000 square feet was allotted for the construction of this temple by the authorities of Islamabad. Govt of Pakistan itself bowed down to the fatwas and pressure of radical organizations of Pakistan. The plight of minorities can easily be gauged in Imran Khan’s government.
