Planning to import from China?, Gov. imposed additional dumping duty amid Boycott Chinese Product
In the past few days, the atmosphere on the border of India and China has become very tense, in such a situation, there is huge anger against China in all over India. Looking at public opinion, the government also prepared a plan to clamp down China.
The Indian government has imposed anti-dumping duty for 5 years on steel imports from not only China but also three countries including South Korea and Vietnam. Not only this, preparations are also being made to impose 20 percent Basic Custom Duty (BCD) on solar items coming from China.
Also, the goods coming from China have been stopped at ports since 22 June.
Modi government in a mood to surround China on imports and can adopt a more strict attitude in the coming days. Significantly, on June 15th, 20 soldiers of the Indian Army were martyred in violent clashes along the border, after which there is an atmosphere of fury in the whole country.
