Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece “Saamana” Criticized PM Modi For Paying Tribute To Bihar Regiment Jawans
The Shiv Sena in its mouthpiece Saamna on Friday accused the Prime Minister of writing that Modi is using the bravery of the Indian Army for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The ruling party of Maharashtra also accused the Prime Minister of playing caste and religion cards. It was written in the Saamna that in the violent clash with the Chinese Army on June 15, Indian soldiers from different regiments were there, but Narendra Modi praised the Bihar regiment only because of the upcoming assembly election.
Referring to Modi’s statement in its editorial mentioning the bravery of the Bihar Regiment in the Galvan Valley conflict, The party mouthpiece Saamna wrote, “When the country was facing a crisis on its borders, were the Mahar, Maratha, Rajput, Sikh, Gorkha, Dogra regiments sitting idle and mixing or chewing tobacco on the borders?”
It was said in the editorial that the soldier who was martyred in Pulwama yesterday is also being given attention due to the upcoming assembly election only, such cheap politics is even more dangerous than the corona virus. After the clash in the galwan valley, the Prime Minister had said that “I pay homage to soldiers who sacrificed their lives for country. Everyone is proud of Bihar Regiment’s valour,”
