Tense atmosphere on India-China border: Sonia targets BJP

At an executive meeting of the party on Tuesday to discuss the India-China border crisis in Delhi, Sonia Gandhi said, “What will happen in the future is not yet known, but we hope that the government is ripe to give our territorial integrity, there is a need for diplomacy and decisive leadership.”

She also expressed concern over the economic crisis and added, India is grappling with a severe economic crisis, the corona virus epidemic and now the border crisis with China. The Congress Interim President said that the reason for these crises is the mismanagement of the BJP and its wrong policies.

She also questioned the government about the ever-increasing prices of petrol and diesel. Sonia Gandhi also termed the government’s policies to deal with the Coronavirus crisis a failure and said that despite the Prime Minister’s assurances, the epidemic is increasing.
