8 months after the historic Ram Mandir decision on 9 November 2019, the time for Bhoomi Pujan has arrived, which the people of the country had been waiting for decades. According to the information received from the sources, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi can visit Ayodhya on 3 or 5 August for Bhoomi Pujan after which construction work will be started.
Detailed information of the Prime Minister’s program can be obtained after the meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust on the 18th july. According to sources, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the chairman of the trust, has written a letter to PM Narendra Modi to visit Ayodhya and lay the foundation for the construction of Ram temple. The chairman of the trust also wrote that Modi should come to Ayodhya and lay the foundation for Ram temple construction, not from virtual or video conferencing.
Significantly, in November, the Supreme Court had given its verdict in favor of the temple on the Ram temple and Babri Masjid dispute. The center was directed to prepare a plan within three months which would be helpful for the construction of the temple. On the other hand, the Supreme Court had ordered that 5 acres of alternate land in Ayodhya be given to the Sunni Central Waqf Board for the construction of a mosque.
