Will, we again get a chance to call India, “Bharat”: SC to hear plea on changing name India to Bharat on June 2

On 2nd June, it is going to be once again a historic day, Supremem court of India is going to hear the plea stating to change the name of the country i.e. from India to Bharat.

The Petition was filed by one Namah was earlier listed to be heard today, however postponed to June 2 due to the unavailability of Chief Justice of India, SA Bobde.

Using Bharat will ensure citizens of India to get over the colonial past and create a sense of pride in our land, country.
