Yogi government issued guidelines for giving exemption in Uttar Pradesh.

The Uttar Pradesh government has issued guidelines applicable in the state from Monday in connection with the relaxation from lockdown. Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued guidelines regarding unlock-1 in a meeting with senior officials.

These will remain in force till June 30. He informed that a special prohibited area policy has been prepared for the residential and multi-story societies of the National Capital Region, especially Noida and Ghaziabad. In such buildings, if a case of infection is found on any one floor, only that building will be kept in the prohibited area. If more than one tower comes into the society, the affected towers will be closed but some common areas will also be decided. If needed, they too will be kept in captive area.

Awasthi said that if there is a case of corona infection in commercial industrial office buildings, it will be made prohibited area. It will be closed for 24 hours to prevent infection and then be opened. The building owner will have to bear the cost of prevention of infection. If a case of infection is found on a floor, only that floor will be sealed. If there are cases of infection on multiple floors then the entire tower will be sealed.


Awasthi said that despite being a prohibited area in any of rural area, they will be allowed to do agricultural work by following the rules of distance from each other. Additional Chief Secretary told that now 100 percent employees will work in all government offices but work will be done in three shifts. The first one will be from 9 to 5 in the morning, the second from 10 to 6, the third shift from 11 to 7 in the evening. Offices will have to provide masks, sanitizers and thermal scanning as required.

He told that the industries have been given permission to work in the night shift but they will have to arrange a bus for their employees. To open shops all over the state, shopkeepers will have to arrange gloves and sanitizers with masks.

All markets will open from 9 am to 9 pm. The single brand super market has also been directed to open with conditions. He informed that there are special orders for beauty parlor, salon. They will be opened with the rules of distance from each other and working people will have to apply masks and no cloth or towel can be used again and again. He said that the rail service will start from June 1, people should be very careful during the journey.
